How to Make Money With Your Digital Camera

By

A camera makes our memorable moments last forever. Every year, we have many gatherings with our family, many corporate events, travels and many more. Some people love capturing different moments and things and create their own album which they keep at home or make an online photo album. This hobby becomes very addicting as it does not only bring memories that we could treasure forever but can also make our free time worthwhile.

However, not so many people know yet that we could earn money from our digital camera. Those photos that we take and just keep for years can give us a lifetime passive income. If we are serious enough and would devote a lot of time to it, it can even replace our day job and would give us the freedom of our time and become our own boss. We can go on vacations without being worried that we would be fired if we stay too long, we can wake up anytime during the day and not worry that we will be late, and many more benefits we can get from it.

So, how can we make money from our digital camera? There are different ways to do that but in order to make that possible, we need to have an internet connection at home.

Submit Your Photos to Triond

You can also earn a lifetime passive income from your photos online by submitting to revenue-sharing sites. There are many sites online where you can submit your photos and they will give you a share of the revenue generated from them. Some of these sites include Flixya and Triond. Flixya gives 100% adsense revenue share to its members while you can earn from Triond through the pageviews and from your Google adsense income.

You can also create xombytes, hubs and lenses at Xomba, Hubpages and Squidoo about your photos. Photos do tell a story and writing a few paragraphs about the background of the photo that you have taken can also be possible. For example, if you have taken a photo of a popular waterfall, you can create a hub about the background of that waterfall, where it is located, why tourists should visit it and any other information related to it. You can do the same to your lenses and xombytes. These posts will generate monthly income and you can earn a share of the income it will generate.

Triond is one of the sites online that offers revenue sharing opportunity to its members. Members can submit content to the site and this content will be published in the different Triond sites. There are two (2) ways to earn money from your content from them, one is through pageviews and the other one is through Google adsense. You can directly submit your photos to them or write an article about your photo and attach the photo to your article. One thing I learned from the site is that photos with articles do earn more than photos or videos alone.

Flixya is another site where we can also submit our photos and videos. We can take photos and videos of the different events that happen everyday. This content can be added to Flixya where we could earn money through the 100% Google adsense revenue earned from our contents.

We can also make xombytes at Xomba with our photos and videos in it. In every photo and video we submit, we have to provide a little background info or a little story about it which is at least 150 words. This will help our xombytes to rank higher in search engines. Using the keywords in our articles that people usually search in search engines will also help increase our page's traffic.

Make a Photo Blog

You can also make a photo blog online. You can create a free blog from Blogger.com and add the Google ads as well as Amazon capsules in it. However, you need to drive traffic to your blog by yourself compared to the xombytes in Xomba and posts in Triond and Flixya that the pages can gain traffic even with less marketing from your side as these sites already rank high in search engines.

Sell Your Photos Online

You are the owner of your photos so if anyone uses it, you have the right to claim ownership. There are also some micro stock photography sites where you can sell your pictures online. These sites include:

bigstockphoto.com
shutterstock.com
shutterpoint.com
fotolia.com
dreamstime.com
123rf.com
crestock.com
istockphoto.com

Some people earn thousands of dollars monthly selling their photos from these sites online. So, why don't you review those photos you have taken yesterday, last month, last year and many years ago? You don't know that some website owner out there is desperate enough to find that photo online. Bring that digital camera to work again so it can start providing a lifetime passive income soon.
